Man finds out his daughter isnt his after 15 years, and sues the biological father for the cost of raising the child. (according to the story it sounds like hes giving up rights to the child to the biological father)
The thing here is, while it is a nearly unforgivable betrayal by his wife (who probably knew the kid wasnt his). I dont know how you can raise a child for that long then just be like **** it, once you find out its not yours. This is irrelevant to the child for the most part, the one they care about is the one they developed an emotional bond with.
I mean I can for sure understand what a tool he must feel like unwittingly taking care of some other douchebags kid, feeling like he was the butt of a 15 year long joke, but how could you just toss the kid aside like that?
I go back to a documentary I watched years ago, based on statistics it conluded in marriages with children at least one child is, unbeknownst to the father, not his in 50% of worldwide unions. (note this was a worldwide study, and not specific to the US).
