I feel like the Blackhawks lose 3 of 4 and people are ready to jump over the edge at lovers leap clutching their vial of United Center Ice.

What is going on here?....I know we aren't what we were last year....thats the modern NHL. Every team is a new unique team. No Bolland = big problems. And that Frolic kid. wow....two energy guys. And we've had a rotating group of fill ins all season all over the place.

Thats just how Q rolls!!! He mixes it up, takes a look at everything and doesn't give his poker hand away. It seems like we don't even know who are lines will be, but come playoff time watch it get solid when our backs are to the wall. Thats who we are. We disguise our best effort until its absolutaely needed.

I know those cats upstairs in Blackhawks are using some advanced statistics on player selecting too. They are ahead of the curve with the attributes they are looking to develop for a specific purpose. We are the smartest franchise in the league, with the smart most tenacious sob players.

We are going to be ok. No team is invincible. Championships are tough to come by even when everything is seemingly perfect (pittsburgh last year.)

so kick your wife out of the sports den. New man rules!! No more women on this ship!! Get the bro's together and get ready for some blackhawks cuz this shit is starting to get serious. That means the bud light girl goes back up on the wall, and all midgets must lease their time for the good of man kind on hawks night so we can rent them with some escorts to have a real party during 2nd intermission.

Chicken wings!!!!! Our scoring will find itself, we are the best scoring team in the league. Come playoffs, thats still who we are. We won't go down easy.

Oh I'm far from jumping off the cliff. I'm not even walking toward the ledge.

I just think the Hawks are lacking in motivation lately. That extra little bit of jump that turns them into an unstoppable force has been missing. If you said that missing force has a physical shape and it wears number 88, I wouldn't disagree.

The Hawks always slump in mid/late March. Just the way they've been in the last 4-5 years.

But I haven't forgotten the team that thoroughly dominated St. Louis 4-0 a few weeks ago. I know that team's there. I have faith it'll be back for the postseason.

And if Matt Duchene's injury is serious (I posted a thread about it with a gif), Colorado is going to have a hard time beating them.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
Been busy, and never really active in this forum. I wish I had more to say, but really, the Hawks are still amazing to watch and root for. I just was never much for talking about the team.

Something about this team just screams for bandwagon fans across the city. And that's a real shame. Who knows what may happen in the future. Might have a massive drought with a lot of mediocre or even bad teams. Gotta take this chance to enjoy it while you can.

Although the results of late have been disappointing, I'm not throwing the towel in. Team is still has a legit chance at the Cup.

If the season ended today they would face who, Colorado? I'm not worried.

Avoiding St.Louis, Colorado, and Boston is key to our playoff success, imo this year.

Key injuries to two of those looks good for us if Kane comes back 100%. Gotta like those chances, but the Bruins or Pitt team that emerges out of East will give us a run for our money this year. I don't like Iginla on Boston though the loss of Jagr makes it a near wash, Iginla does more things at this age compared to timeless and has always had a knack for turning up the quality when his team needs it most. I found Iginla would come up with huge goals for Calgary when they needed it most. Meaning...he didn't score in 4-0 games, he scores in 2-1 games.

I respect Iginla as much as any player I watching in the 2000's.

Pretty much guaranteed to face Colorado in the postseason with the new format.

The second and third place teams from each division now meet in the postseason. Hawks and Avs are pretty much locked in, just a matter of who's 2 and who's 3. Then the two division winners play the two remaining wild card teams.

We are probably going to have to beat all 3 if them to win the cup. Most likely one of the Cali teams as well
