Manto probably wasn't all at fault. But the fact that he wants hitters to swing away at pitch 1 and not draw walks is totally Special person. They should have fired him when he said that in ST of last ear.

Manager was not the problem.
IMO, it was the previous GM making bad personnel moves. Which is why he was essentially fired, then re-hired as an empty suit in the front office.
It's time to clean house, find a few diamonds in the rough and rebuild for 2016. The Sox should open the pocketbook and acquire a few big league ready bats to compliment pitching, but we all know that's not happening with Reinsdork pulling the strings.

where do you come up with these things? Reinsdorf has been spending money more and more since 05. so much that they are always in the top tier for money spent.
