Been browsing the HFBoards especially the Hawks section.

And i've seen posts bashing Kruger.

The kid just turned 21 & has played 7 career games. (not counting playoffs)

Calm the **** down.. :kick:

While I am with you on this, I still don't think he fits into the 4th line that I want to Blackhawks to have.

Agreed. I know we've only seen him for a few games but he doesnt seem like he's a 4th line guy. He looks to have some offensive skills. I dont think they want to bury him playing 4 or 5 shifts a game on the 4th line....he'd be better of going to Rockford and playing regular shifts till he's ready.

Plus generally, those 4 or 5 shifts are supposed to not be time -eaters, but be purpose shifts- in a perfect world - purpose in the sense of, you got guys that are supposed to be able to shut down the other team, but not really be anything resembling a scoring threat - sort of along the same lines as why you don't bring a rookie up in MLB with the idea of making him a specialty situation pinch hitter.

Does he play wing? If so - 3rd line, see what he can do, if struggles - Rockford until a slot might come open.

I don't want to mess with our 3rd line. Bolland, Forlik and Bick killed it in the game or 2 that they played together in the Canucks series.

I also want Ben Smith and a new checking center and winger to be on the 4th line. That leaves Kruger in Rockford or else he wont get any meaningful ice time.
