Who has defended Marshall's past transgressions? he did them and took responsibility. He was suspended and that was the right thing to do.

You're right, it's not quite victim blaming. But he picked out the woman in the room and said she could accuse him of rape and he would be banned for 6 games, or something to that effect.

Well my oldest sister and her husband are both dentists and they don't charge outrageous rates but they have told me about just how shady people can be in their industry. Its certainly car-dealershipesque in how they try to up-sell you into using more expensive materials or options.

I think he's doing great. He's not victim blaming. He's trying raise awareness and he's doing a good job of telling people that there's more to every story and not to rush to judgment. All reasonable things to say.

I will say this, the dude is one of the most charismatic people on the planet - not only his style/swagger/image, but also in the way he speaks. If he wants to, he can have a LONG career in broadcasting post football.

I hear him and I hear a guy that got to a point in his life where he was truly broken and knows how bad he fucked up in the past. He clearly feels guilt for that and is thankful - if that's the right word - that people showed him love and helped him.

I am also for giving people second chances. I do not defend what Marshall has done in the past, but it seems he has owned his problem and taken care of it.
