It was a great season for the Bulls. No one expected us to be the number one seed in the NBA and be one round away from making it to the finals. There were many accomplishments and awards given to players and coaches. The team was pretty much entirely new, and things worked out perfectly, but we couldn't come through in the end. I know we are one piece away from being true contenders, and I believe that player is in the upcoming draft. This player is starting to get attention from draft experts and labeled as possibly the biggest steal. Marshon Brooks is...."Chicago's Answer".

I kept a eye on him during the College Basketball Season...I really like him and I think he is the PERFECT FIT FOR THE BULLS based on how he plays, he can be a SPOT UP SHOOTER FOR ROSE but he can also clear out and create on his own and GET HIS SHOT OFF ON HIS OWN! He just fits out style, good and humble kid with a ton of energy on the courts on BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL

He is also a VERY GOOD DEFENDER, something Tom would LOVE I am sure, but I don't know if he falls to us now after PERFORMING WELL AT THE COMBINE:(

plus he would be the ANSWER RIGHT AWAY but he could develop into that guy, so if you can you draft him then maybe go sign a Veteran like Jason Richardson to a 2 Year Deal and let Brooks Develop

but I really hope we can get him

Malcolm Lee from UCLA is another guy I really like...can't go wrong with a UCLA player IMO, many of them have developed into much better pros then College Players at UCLA, Lee is also a great defender and can play PG

He is basically JR Smith but isn't a cancer in the locker room like JR. I think he will be gone before you pick you probably would have to trade up. I don't like the fit in Chicago either because Drose needs the ball too much to make Brooks as effective as he can be. Maybe if you start Ronnie Brewer and have Brooks come off the bench with CJ Watson. I think Charles Jenkins is a much better fit he is a much better shooter. Brooks can shoot well but he is much better with the ball in his hands he wouldnt be a bad fit. But it might be pricey to trade up and get him. Talent really drops in this draft after about 25. There is much difference between the 12 best player in the draft and the 25th best player in this draft very odd draft. It picks back up in the 40s but in between there is really weak talent in this draft in my opinion.

Wow, you really dislike JR don't you? My buddies who are Nuggets fans don't even call him a cancer. It's mostly George Karl's fault; he always throws JR under the bus and never takes responsibility for the fact that he doesn't run an offense, etc.

JR Smith would be a good fit, and from the highlights this kid might be someone to groom too.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Considering where we're picking, I'll take him in a heartbeat.

I'M SORRY TO RAIN ON YOUR THREAD, BUT NONE OF THE BULLS DRAFT PICKS THIS YEAR WILL BE "THE ANSWER".......they will just be benchwarmers or trade bait.........The true answer will be through trades or just signing JR SMITH.....bottom line my friends...

I would draft him in a heartbeat--it would be a no brainer if he is avaiable...the question is, will he be? The other question would be who they take if he is not on the board.

I will let JR smith do my talking for me he is just an idiot i leave it at that and a cancer he always has been. If he had a brain he would be an all star talent but to bad he is just a idiot.

The Bulls need scoring on the wing ASAP because who knows how long this team with Rose as the only focal point to the offense will be playing at a 62-win level. Brooks will be a good scorer in the league, the question is, would the Bulls be willing to trade up to get him, and what would they be willing to give up? All 3 of their picks this year; the Charlotte pick? CJ Watson and a pick? What do you guys think?

The only thing J.R. Smith would do is solidify the Bulls' place in basketball hell.

i would say brooks is more like a nick young if you still had some ability to mold young's game in the gameplan. if i got him, i would start him next to rose so he could learn to play next to him and then finish the game with him, but during the game mostly play him with the bench. the beginning is mostly for confidence. the middle is because the bench has great trouble scoring and brooks could ease that. the end is to take pressure off of rose.

of course we don't have brooks so it's irrelevant but i think he would be a GREAT fit in chicago.

Brooks won't be around unless we move up.....which I'm not against.

Nolan Smith and David Lighty should be our picks.

I think Brooks can last as to #28 as long as Charlotte passes him up. If he can avoid MJ, then he probably should make it to the Bulls. But I would like to see Marshon Brooks come off the bench so he can have free reign to shoot as much as he wants since the Bench Mob is more defense than offense. Maybe Brooks scoring ability will allow Luol Deng to rest with the rest of the starters when the second team comes in and that will allow CJ to get others involved, because CJ had to score when all else failed and sometimes he didn't move the ball. Marshon Brooks can be that scorer that could help CJ grow with the second team as a facilitator. CJ and Brooks can carry the offense for the second team in my opinion.

I don't think that Brooks lasts to 28, some mocks have him going at 18. I don't know if the Bulls could trade up any further than the 22-24 range. If he is there, the Bulls need to at least try to pull the trigger.
