Matador vs. Bull

So a matador just died on live TV in Spain after getting gored by a bull. I'm not going to post the video but it's easy to find if you want to see.

If you watch a fight between a matador vs. a bull who do you root for? I have to admit I'd pull for the bull. No sympathy from me for a fucktard that makes his living torturing animals for entertainment. Thoughts?

I understand people's disdain for killing bulls in the process. However people always seem to think they know better because they are looking from the outside in on cultures they don't understand and aren't a part of.

I don't need to be a part of that culture to know its wrong. Just like someone doesn't need to be American to know slavery was wrong. (Not that that is an apples to apples comparison)

And Aboriginal Australians are the oldest contiguous culture that still exists and stretches back over 50,000 years. Should they just join modern society and wipe their culture from history because I think they are living in archaic ways?

I think they should bring back the lion fighting of the gladiator days. That was a fun and risky sport.

Seriously, I'd have more respect for the matador if there were no picadors.

And yes, I always root for the bull, just like in the battle between dumbass Yellowstone Tourist who ignores the rangers warnings about getting to close to the wildlife and the rutting bison, I root for the bison.

San Fermin is a wonderful culture and experience, I have run the bulls many times in Pamplona. Best adrenaline rush by a longshot, and the Hemingway nerd in me chubs up each visit.

As for the matador fighting the bull, i also have no respect for it b/c of the picadors as another poster mentioned above.
