I gotta feeling the front office will probably trade him, especially with the signing of Jackson.

I really hope we lock him up for 6 years or so, cause whoever we trade him for (most likely prospects) will not work out for us. The prospects we gave to get Garza didn't make it.

He is most likely going to be traded. If not during Spring Training (if he shows he is healthy and ready to go), then definitely by the July 31 trade deadline. This is, of course, unless the Cubs do not get what they feel to be fair market value for him. Though, if he decides to sign a team friendly contract extension, he could be kept around. But even a team friendly extension does not guarantee he will be around for long.

You're kidding right? You are declaring the Rays number 1 and 3 prospects as didn't make it. The number 3 prospect was 47 on BA's midseason top 50. You are right if what you meant is that guys that are 24 and 22 heading into 2013 has yet to establish him them as major league regulars, but that is hardly an indictment on the return the Rays got.

I still can't figure out why the Rockies are keeping DJ and Colvin.
Boy Blunder had to resign Iham BeefStew-Shart this season, in swift fashion, before the competition came closing in.

Just think of how much less Boy Blunder would have given up to get Garza in a trade.

I guess he would have "botched" the deal somehow.
My mistake. Just trying to remain positive.

After reading this several times I have still to find any reasonable connection to the post you quoted.

Another great human being, fallen victim to tunnel vision, via the Mighty Boy Blunder.

How's that Chris Archer blow-up doll holding up ?

now you see why I blocked him. He never says anything worthwhile.

Ya, and his thought process is even worse, "how is Chris Archer, the Rays' top prospect, a failed prospect?" becomes having a "Chris Archer blow up doll" :smh:

Exaclty. Especially giving a 6-year contract to a pitcher that's had arm issues. Hmmm I don't see a problem with that in the future.

Jed Hoyer sounds like a guy that expects Garza to be traded when shown to be healthy.

glad you could catch up :) Many of us feel that he could very well be traded during Spring Training
