A little background for anyone who hasn't heard of this.

A guy named Russ out in San Diego runs a private haunted house where people need to go through background checks, a waiting list over near 25,000 people and sign a waiver stating all liable damages are NOT on Russ and company.

Oh, and it's free. All you need to do is bring a can of dog food to donate.

It's come under fire as not being a haunted house; but a legit torture chamber of people being pushed past the point of exhaustion, nearly dying, having mental breakdowns, etc. The problem is Russ "tells you not to do this", but once you are in the house... You are in and can't leave. You signed the waiver.

It's even more fucked up now that he has stated that there are live betters in Vegas who watch a live stream of someone in the house that Russ allows them to view/bet.

It's been on the news a few times and personally, I think the guy is a full blown psychopath.

No one apparently has made it through and Vegas apparently bets on how long one can stay in before being emotionally beaten.

Agreed , it's extremely dark and messed up. The guy, Russ, totally seems like a sociopath. Something ain't right if you subject people to that. That's messed up.
