Hun, I think it should be O'Muslim if he's Irish. Mc is for Scottish. And maybe he meant O'Bama and not Obama. But what do I know I'm Polish.

"Mac" is Scottish "Mc" is Irish. "Mick" isnt a racial slur for the Irish for nothing. i.e. the Shakespearean Scottish play MacBeth, it wasnt McBeth.

Although there are exceptions to the rule, you will find some Scottish Mc's and Irish Mac's.
