Meeting at the UC

I'll be at iron works prior to the start of the game. Iron works is outside of section 309 on the 300 level.

I'll be wearing red, which should differentiate me from the rest of the stadium.

Seriously though, I'll have on light khaki shorts, a red t-shirt with an adidas logo on top then Bulls in big white letter and then basketball in red letters written in a black stripe below that. It's one of those sweat wicking workout shirts. I'm not sure what time I'll get there, but I'm probably going to leave around 5:00 to go, so I should be there pretty early.

I'm embarrassed to say the guy who's going with me isn't wearing red. He forgot to bring his red shirt to work to change into, since he has to different clothes to work. I think I'm going to have to punch him in the balls. He did bring a red Bulls warm up jacket though.

Have you ever seen What happens in Vegas? You can punch him in the balls and say right after you know why

I don't know why but that scene makes me laugh every time I watch it

I don't have anything red but will be wearing a gray bulls tshirt, but I will be happy to be thrown at kg's bad knee. Its a good insurance policy to make sure he doesn't come back.

Realistically the red thing isn't as big a factor as the crowd noise. I doubt you can even tell if anyone's not wearing red in the 300 level, still I went out and bought a red shirt for the occasion. I migh tnot have bothered if I wasn't also going to game 4 and sitting in row 1 centercourt on the 100 level behind the announcers where I'll be on TV constantly and be quite embarrassed to be in a white shirt.

Once again, only to less than half the people. Its the first 10,000. The UC will have about 23,000 people. No one outside of our little fan section follows the bulls even half as much. Its sad but true.

This is why I was hoping that they hand out Red T's to every fans coming to UC as a compliment and on 1 condition that they have to be the loudest they ever been.

I agree with Doug, I am more hoping for the crowd to be rawdy and loud like crazy - right from the get go. I heard Doug Collins saying it like 100 times that I can't wait to get to UC on Thursday, the crowd is going to be big time loud. Same thing Ernie Johnson said yesterday (while Barkley said, it ain't like old Chicago stadium) Which I do agree though - it's really sad actually.

I am also buying a red Bulls jersey specially for the Sunday's game and I will the loudest person at the UC.

Doug, are you going there this Sunday? We can meet there then? WHo else is coming on Sunday???

I'll probably meet you on Sunday too, but I'm going with Denise, so I'm not sure if she's as amped to go and meet 10-20 random people I know on the internet though she may be persuaded.
