So Melrose calls the central division for the hawks, what do you guys think?

I tend to agree, on paper I think I would take our top 2 lines (as they have been the past 2 games) over any 2 lines in the league. Comes down to goaltending....we just need "decent" goaltending...we don't need great goaltending, like tonight, Emery blew and we still won out because of our scoring, I think on any given night, if our goalie performance is just a little better than emery tonight, we could easily top the central.

Didn't Melrose predict the Hawks to win it all in 2010? That said, the Hawks look good both offensively and defensively, but it's still just two games. I am willing to put the Emery performance to simple rust from not playing for a long ass while. The jury is still out on the goaltending IMO, so I don't see the fuzz around the goaltending situation to be warranted. If Crawford can keep a decent standard of play the Hawks should be fine.

The real lay of the land ought to be much clearer in a week or two. Hopefully what the Hawks have shown so far is only a prelude of what's to come.

It's only 2 games so the jury is out on everything.

Can we stay healthy?

How many scoring droughts will there be? (Like later when we are not shooting at rusty goalies)

Will our goaltending continue to be as bad as blisters on your dick like Emery was tonite....

That's what makes predictions so difficult to make though.

No---he threw a Canucks or maybe Sharks (?) pick in there! Maybe his 2010-11 pick I wanna say? I am talking about his SC picks not just his WC predictions. But yes, he does love picking him some Hawks to make the SCF, lol.

I'll wait to see how we stack up against St. Louis first.

That's quite a visual you've given to us all---to be honest I could slap you for making me think of that silver mullet that way.

Mmm-hmmm.

Anyhoo, Melrose is only chubbying for the Hawks to win their Div. and he thinks they *could* wind up on top of the WC at the end the season. WhoTF cares when his SCF pick for the West this year is Minnesota! Fucking Wild---I am literally longing and maybe even salivating for when they hit a speed bump.

Melrose picked the Wild coming out of the West....

Other than that I usually love his picks. Especially when Canuck fans get their hopes up.
