Nice headline. I think you could teach Seiglar a thing or two...

A lot of really good stuff in here, which Hoge states Caleb has the most elite accuracy he's ever seen coming out, and great at nearly everything else. His only qualm is his play in the pocket. So, overall there was some nuanced backtracking in here because everything he says about Williams indicates elite abilities other than that one gripe.

On another note, he doesn't seem to know too much about the Bears and Fields, because if the most important thing to him is pocket awareness and play from the pocket, then he'd think Fields is epicly bad according to his scope, and would certainly advise moving on.

His accuracy is definitely elite, but I'd argue C.J is right up there with him, speaking on what he looked like in college. He was surgical too.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Perfect, so Merrill has said CW is horrible and the greatest. Such a great evaluator

CW is VERY accurate... but he also make some wtf throws that are way off target. (who doesn't?) He also misses his dump-offs sometimes. The latter is coachable. Draft the mofo.

It's the same as most the recent top QBs

Overflowing with talent, athletic af, mind blowing thrower

Complete crapshoot whether he can stay on schedule and work his reads within NFL time constraints

Kirk Warnher basically mentioned how no colleges run actual schemes that translate to the NFL anymore and the defense is so bad its hard to determine how these guys will translate to the NFL.

He's honestly right. Even Ohio state which is a lot closer to "pro style" than 95% of these schools runs an air raid inspired scheme based on chip kelly. We know how well that worked in the NFL....

Honestly my biggest issue with CW. On tape the arm talent is very apparent, but he's played against trash competition the majority of the time at USC and his first NFL game will be the first game he's played since HS that matters.
