Just came across this game by accident earlier today and im glad i did.

It looks like a cross between LOTR, Assassins Creed, and the Arkham Games.

Gameplay Video

They are using a new game engine called "Nemesis" where encounters with enemies change the course of the game.

Its coming out for New Gen and Last Gen consoles sometime in 2014.

There is alot of Assassin's Creed in that gameplay.... the movement, the climbing, the rope thing, the vision thing (called Eagle vision in AC), the air assassination.

However, once combat started it looked a bit different, similar but not exactly like Assassin's Creed.... looks bad ass, I will be on that one.

Nice find!

Yeah, looks like a good one. I initially just dismissed it b/c I'm not a LOTR guy, but I'm glad I checked out the video.

Apparently how enimies work are the evolve around how you treat them. Say you attack a group of enimes, and leave a lesser one maybe just burned but kill the leader? The one you burned might become the leader and be hunting you because you scarred or...or be a huge pussy because he knows you got the better of him last time. And enimies are always infighting and leveling up, so the longer you wait to go after a certain guy, the stronger he'll be....or he may get overthrown by one of his underlings that was stronger than him.

That is really cool, I like those concepts.... as long as they implement them well.

Nothing worse than talk of a cool concept like that which turns out to be super watered down and shitty lol

"Fully destructible environments!" = "The windows will break if you shoot them, but you can ram a wooden hut with a tank and it won't budge" :D

It says the release date is 10/29/2014. I hope the boss battle at the end with the great eye is epic. I haven't been satisfied with a boss battle since Ninja Gaiden.

So this game comes out this Tuesday and the reviews have been very positive. Here's one of the reviews.

Hopefully it has a compelling story. Dont have the focus for action games that arent story driven any more.

Every review i've seen say that the story is probably the weakest part of the game.

The story is okay, but it's really fun. I think I might be starting to get bored of it. But I'm like 16 hours of gameplay into it. So worth it imo.

How do you get the Uruks to become your slaves or whatever? I seen that feature in the previews and reviews but have yet been able to do so. Is this something that you can eventually unlock or am I missing something?

Yeah, you unlock it later. Just like the better ways to mount caragors and grauks.

Basically, if you follow the story, you'll get better abilities sooner.

So I just beat the game and I have to say the boss fight at the end was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. It wasn't even a fight, it was 4 buttons that had to get pushed through a cinematic cut scene.
