I am pretty sure he just cleared amnesty waivers. He is going to get paid the same money no matter where he goes, well unless someone signs him for more than the heat was paying him.

I think the Bulls should offer him the league min. His skills have declined, but he is a good shooter and a competent ball handler and passer. All things being equal he could be a decent rotation player and does not seem to cause problems.

Might be a nice find for a low cost.

I know he would be more than Murphy, but I think I would rather have Miller.

He is all the things you mention. When you listen to Thibs, Forman and Paxson about what they constantly not just consistently want, do you not hear defense? It's the one thing you did not list as what Miller brings to the game. He's obviously going to be a backup at the 2 right? Hinrich is going to get minutes there, not just behind Roe primarily because he is such a strong defender but he can also shoot, you want Snell to get experience and he's a long active player. Is the idea to sign Miller for special situations that come up when you need a three? How is he going to instantly get some stroke going if he sits on the bench waiting for his moment to shoot?

Instead of focusing on what players can do from past history, look at where they fit into the Bulls roster and system and how would they get on the floor in Thibs' rotation.

He's going to miss a lot of time because of back surgery. The only reason to bring him in, is to pump him for information that could help target Miami weaknesses(which doesn't work so well in the NBA). He'll be dead weight this year, on any roster.

That's actually basically what he did for Miami. He'd sit on the bench forever then come in the game and drain like 4 3s. Go figure.

I personally believe there's a chance he won't be signed until February or so...

Someone else people want for the league min. Of all of the league min 2/3s out there Miller is probably the best.

It is not like he would play a lot of minutes. When Deng has a heart attack and needs to miss some games he is a competent back up to slide into the backup role.

To each there own I guess.

Unless you enjoy watching useless players sit on the bench, Mike Miller is a waste of a roster spot.

Yeah.... I think the dude's done. I feel like every time he's playing, he's grimacing as if something is hurting him. He'll just stick around and collect his money then ride off into the sunset.
