Ministry of War (see screenshots), a free-to-play online massively multiplayer real-time strategy title from Snail Games, will officially launch Nov. 17.
The browser game began its North American beta test on July 17.
In the game, players choose from these civilizations - Imperial Rome, Persia, Egypt and China. They then build, battle and trade their way to world comination.
Every night, 8 to 11 p.m. CST, guilds from different civilizations will challenge each other for control of more than 50 cities in unclaimed territory.

  • Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Teotl Studios announced the availability of a playable demo for the first-person action adventure game, The Ball. The demo can be downloaded at www.iceberg-interactive.com. The story involves a daring archaeologist who stumbles upon ancient ruins while working on a dormant volcano in Mexico.
  • An add-on was announced for Battlefield Academy by Slitherine and Matrix Games. "Blitzkrieg" includes nine single-player missions, four multiplayer missions, 25 new units and more set in the lightning mechanized warfare of early World War II.
  • "Damned Burial Ground," a new area, opened in Priston Tale 2: The Second Enigma, a MMORPG from Game Bridger Entertainment. Burial Ground teems with new monsters, items and quests. The free game can be found at http://pt2.gamerkraft.com.
