4 dollar 16oz beer is the same volume as the 7 dollar 20oz.

This doesn't surprise me. I wouldn't doubt if this happens more places.

My wife noticed the same thing at the one and only Schaumburg Flyers game we went to. Said something to the staff and was basically told to contact the vendor. The $1.50 difference was not worth the time.

judging by the prices, its still overall cheaper even if the sizes were correct, to get small beers at 4 dollars than large at 7. 2 small (32oz) 8 bucks compared to 20oz for 7?

you are paying 25 cents an ounce for the 16 oz and 35 cents an ounce for the "alleged" 20 oz. generally, buying in a larger quantity should reduce the price per ounce, not increase it....

If the concern is saving a dollar on the already over-priced beer, perhaps "you" shouldnt be drinking beer at all let alone at the hockey game.

I look at it like the movies. I know I am gonna have overpay for treats.

I just saw a news reporter Interviewing the president of this arena about this. In a very matter of fact way he stated they will change the 20 oz. cups to 24 oz. and remain 7 dollars per.

Yeah, it's only been an oversight for 5 years.... aka until someone calls them on it. It's a lawsuit now, and I can't remember who it was but some idaho politician is still not sure that changing the cup from a 20 to 24 oz actually does anything since it's still cheaper per oz to buy the small.

yeah 24oz at 7 dollars would be 29 cents per ounce. The Small would still be 25 cents per ounce. they should just make it 24oz and 6 dollars, that evens everything out both would be 25 cents an ounce then.
