Yeah, I get that. But why would they say "Jimmy G's not good enough, we'll give Trubisky a shot!" That makes no logical sense to me. The main reason would be age and price tag. But like you said, 45Mil they can do a lot better than that.

Because 4M will be cheaper and less injury prone than JG.

Not a lot of vet QBs out there that fit their scheme that would clearly be better thab 4M.
