What has jimmy done that makes him more expensive than Mitch?
They both had one season with inflated stats that wasn't close to their actual talent. Other than that they both have been pretty bad and both still can't read defenses.
Mitch, statistically is having a decent season. Jimmy G is about to get cut.
Hes got cheap signing to the pats written all over him, IMO.

JG has a cap hit of almost 29m if he stays. I am saying 4M will be cheaper. I was referring to JG remaining with Niners.
JG also had a better outlier year than 4M.

Wilson is my favorite, I stopped talking about him the moment we were not capable of drafting him.
I never have mentioned taking mac jones, but I won't care if we do.
Trask is my 2nd round pick.
Newman is who I wouldn't mind if we go QB in round 3.
Pretty simple.

Yea, Jimmy and mitch are probably the same guys talent wise. They could get mitch for like half what they are paying Jimmy, and then sign basically a top FA at any position with the remaining cap saved.

If I'm a 49ers fan, I'd much rather they trade up as far as they can and get Zach Wilson or Justin Fields, mortgaging the future, and spend 20Mil on a WR like Robinson and some other pieces than eat up 15-20M of the cap with Trubisky.

The only issue with that is they are built to win now. May not want to wait on a rookie to develop if they feel they can get to SB with 4M.
