My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  2. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Chicago State Cougars
  2. DePaul Blue Demons
  3. Illinois-Chicago Flames
  4. Loyola Ramblers
  5. Northern Illinois Huskies
  6. Northwestern Wildcats

Only huge question now is: who is going to own it?

Personally would love a joint ownership with Manchester City, owners committed to spending big bucks, will bring big-name designated players into New York City proper, and the name "City" is generic enough not to look like a MCFC marketing ploy.

Seems like a pretty great stadium location too, though the team won't be starting up until 2015 at the earliest.

That would interfere with the return of the Cosmos though.

The current ownership group of the Cosmos seemingly doesn't have the resources the league is looking for and have joined to NASL and are building some stadium way under MLS capacity. The Cosmos to MLS is basically a lost cause.

If you become a fan of minor league soccer you can still enjoy it, they start the second half of this season. If the league ever comes to point of promotion and relegation they could eventually be here too. I kinda don't want promotion and relegation though.

It's not quite the same. They won't be coming to Toyota Park (although the Richmond Kickers game was fun a few years ago).

Would be really interesting if the Cosmos went far in a USOC and played the Red Bulls or the potential NYCFC
