Usually when people retire, they get moved from the active roster, and are enshrined via plaque etc. Just my 2 cents.

1. I've always wondered this. I knew/thought(?) DeMelt had something to do with the Blackhawks forum and I thought Scoot might have had the Bears forum but recently it had seemed like Ur had been more involved and Scoot had been "promoted" to mod overseer. I didn't really pay attention to the badges as I thought they were just generic staff badges where they could choose their favorite sports logos.
2. Yes, the question was in regards to Silence needlessly closing then deleting a thread in the Cubs forum where I actually wanted an answer to a question about a Maddon lineup. I wanted to know who to ask about it directly because taking the issue directly to the mod in question is like having your CBA suspension grievance overheard by Roger Goodell himself.
Frankly I had no idea Silence was the mod of the Cubs forum. Now that I know he is...the issues there make sense.

Yeah, all of our logos next to the "Staff" name lay out the forum we oversee. I'll help out with moving/merging threads in the Bears forum as I do post in there a decent amount and there's more traffic in that forum than any other one on the site.
