This was easily the most difficult season for awards ever. Just about every single poster could have won something. December we saw a huge influx of staff members stepping up and doing well, and also posters keeping the place active and keeping the quality up.

Poster of the Month goes to Captain Iago. He has been the most consistent poster this site has. Rarely takes jabs at anybody, always a quality poster, and should have won it a couple times before but was slightly outshined. Guys like him, Scoot, Anytime, Shakes, dero, etc. could win it just about any month.

Rookie of the month was ridiculous. We haven't had a month where so many great posters joined up. The winners were split between Relapse and AddisionStation. The runners-up were endless.....jysen, thedude, nick34, gator29, IronMike, unPREditkable, etc. Really it could have gone to anybody. We put a lot of runner-ups because just about everybody deserved it.

Contributor of the month goes to Icehogfan08. His increased posting and NHL ReDraft has brought some more flavor to the site. Has opened the doors to the possibility of a MLB one, etc. He also has been in the Chicago Panthers forum a bit. Beer his way. Tbo41fan is the runner up...we've had a huge vacancy on the home page for Blackhawks articles and he has stepped up and is writing recaps and stuff for them now.

X-Factor/Poodski still run the arcade like it's a prostitute-ring.

Southern Cross & thedude33 both deserve something but were out of loop so they get the monthly "they deserved an award but didn't get one" award.

Well, I appreciate the recognition - thanks guys; the real reason I post here is for the hockey anything else is just a bonus.

Oddly enough being here ... it is still about like following the Hawks with Bill Wirtz in charge (not much has changed... ). (No TV, bad radio reception), maybe the odd highlight ... access to the papers ... about no chance to see a game. Yep, exactly like 1985 for me. I feel 25 years younger.

Congrats to the rest of the list, especially the guys I generally run in to.

Yay! Considering Im computerless and on a freakin phone, Rookie Runner Up, I cant complain lol. Sadly Im restricted to the Bears forum in the sports genre since its the only sport I love. I support my other hometown teams, but definitely couldnt post anything useful sadly. Though if Awards are something that you'd like to see expanded, what about a specific award pertaining to the sports genre? Bears, Cubs, Soxs, Hawks, and Bulls?
