Salary reasons are part of it, the Blackhawks also have agreed to allow Jeremy Morin and Nick Leddy take part in Team USA World Juniors evaluation camp. I wish them both the best of luck and hope they both make the team and help us defend our gold medal.

The World Junior Championships along with the Frozen Four is the most exciting and fun hockey to watch. With Jack Campbell returning in net and the 5 professional players being allowed to tryout for the team this year I really like our chances of defending.

This just goes to show how lucky we were last year. Last year, we did not have to deal with too many injuries and the lines were able to generate chemistry. However, this year with the player turnover and the injuries, the Hawks have a long road ahead. Don't get me wrong, I think that the young players are good and playing ok. But, they are not players that can carry the team.

I agree, this team has well,,, not really been a team yet with all the injuries.

They had to do the same thing with Skille at the start last year or the year before.... so its not really a big deal in my eyes

We replaced our proven depth with garbage.

  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Arizona Wildcats
With these injuries we will have even more young guys, so we might as well get used to it. And I agree with Mackfan, we need to give these youngins some time

Proven depth -does that include Colin Fraser and Ben Eager? :) Take a few -might as well take em all. :)

I'm still devastated by dumping Billy Sweatt ... how many hockey players ever come from Elburn -- in fact how does one ever get born in Elburn (IL) they don't have a hospital there... nm. :D
