Yahoo sports did an article on who they think the Bear's options are, and as you can see they separated them by tier groups. The opinions of those options are mine.

Tier 1 Dak Prescott - not going anywhere Jones will overpay to keep him a Cowboy

Tier 2 Jameis Winston - with Brees talking about retiring, probably not going anywhere
Philip RIvers - Getting up their in age and if he stays, he probably stays in Indy
Cam Newton - all those hits over the years have taken their toll, however, probably has a few good seasons left in him.
Jacoby Brissett - Would be a nice piece in the right system, has good mobility.

Tier 3: Tyrod Taylor - plays well in spurts, but basically just a career back-up
Ryan Fitzgerald - see Tyrod Taylor (older and more flashier)
Andy Dalton - Good physical tools, however, a guy that can look great one game and make you want to kill him the next (sound familiar?)
Dwayne Haskins - talented young QB that has shown flashes. Has maturity issues.

The cupboard is bare (not Bear). No viable solution and a very poor path to be on.

The problem is not what’s available, it’s that the Bears don’t have the balls or courage to make the right move.

They would never give up 3 or 4 firsts for a QB and forego the opportunity to go 7-9 in 2023. It means too much to them. And they remain convinced that you can have Petey Pablo at QB as long as you have the #1 defense. Bears footbaw !!

Acquiring or valuing good QB play is just not how they prioritize building a contending team or in their methodology. They prefer to go against the grain and have a great defense and a “ball control” offense.

they have always put profits and short term play over the right decisions.
