anybody do this shit? I didn't knowingly, but I usually stop shaving in the fall/winter until I can't stand the itchiness any more. Anyway, somebody at my work said there was money in who had the best-judged facial hair by the end of november and it's "for a good cause" so I'm letting it grow.

****** itches like crazy after 3 weeks and I shampoo it in the morning and massage shaving cream into it in the evening dry.

Does anybody else have any great facial (or other) hair stories?

My facial hair is becoming almost entirely white, which is disturbing, because I'm not even 40. I hope I win the work facial hair contest.

Understood. But it has agents in it that calms itching. Also, try conditioning it. My best girlfriend is a hairdresser and tells her clients with beards that.

I will let it grow for 2-3 weeks and the itching gets to me and I shave it.

Only time I have let it grow out longer than that was the Hawks Stanley Cup run this past summer, I let it grow from the end of the regular season to the day after we won the cup. Best part is, my sister's wedding was in June this year.... there was a playoff game on the day of her wedding.... she had to live with playoff beards in her wedding pictures, but they had a sweet setup in the place where there was an elevated space in the center of the dining room and they setup a projector screen with speakers, I provided my laptop and drunkenly setup a stream of the game and we got to watch the Hawks win a playoff game after dinner.

Also funny, the hotel claimed it would be no problem to stream the game cause their Wi-Fi was great, but I got on it and ran speed tests that came back in the < 1MB range, so what we wound up doing was having one of the other groomsmen (who works for Verizon) hotspot his phone and I streamed the entire game on my laptop through his phone....
