Yes, it is the Green Lantern, a difficult character to get into, even for comic nerds. If you saw the first trailer... it looked horrible. This looks A LOT better. It is VERY CGI, which kind of sucks but if you know the background of the Green Lantern, it is mostly out-of-this-world shit, so it has to be CGI.

I'm still too distracted by the BAD CGI. Maybe it will be a better movie than it appears to be from the trailers. I like the Green Lantern, but I didn't go out of my way to buy the comics that often. I might have 15-20 just for collecting purposes, but that's the extent of that. DC has a lot of good characters that aren't household names like batman, superman, wonder woman, flash aquaman... They could easily low budget someone like Guy Gardner and realize that it makes for a great story on the big screen.
