It's only 6 hours in produce next week. Another 20 in grocery.
One full time person who works in produce is having a baby, so I'm thinking they may give me 12-20 hours a week there

It may seem like a small step, but appreciate it. Really.
I've been at my job for 5 years. I'm the most teniored veteran except for the managers (and I've been in the company longer than 2 of them (transferred in from other stores). Until last April, IIRC, I had never gotten a raise. Ever. Only when minimum wage wen't up. And when they did give me a $0.10 raise, they gave that same raise to the people who had only worked there for, what was at the time, 2 months.
And I was a guy who until I started college, worked almost everyday. Worked till close on all the busy days (TUES, THRS, FRI, SAT, SUN). Never calls in sick. Literally, its only happened twice. I always figured maybe its because I'm shitty? But, if I'm shitty, would I have worked there this long?
