My predictions where managers will go...

Here is where I think potential managers will go:

Sandberg: Cubs manager
Quade: Cubs bench coach or 3rd base coach.
Gonzalez: Braves manager
Wedge: Bench coach for a team.
Valetine: Will stay with ESPN.
Joe G: Yanks manager
Joe T: Dodgers manager or retire
Varsho: Stay with team
Listach: Stay with team
Brenly: Stay in booth for Cubs

Thoughts and who's your predictions? Also, more manager jobs could open like the Dodgers possibly and some of these that I have could find manager homes.

I never heard Cubs being interested anyways and I doubt he comes to Chicago. I saw somewhere, there's a good chance he will retire. I don't even like La Russa that much because he bats the pitcher 8th.

You didn't say mangers that could go to the Cubs. You simply said "Coaches".

Because it's a tactic that works, if you have the right players. Is that way you don't like him and his hitting the pitcher 8th? If we still had Theriot, he definitely would be the PERFECT 9 hitter.

But, they also have Albert and it would work WAY more than if he was with the Cubs.

It doesn't matter who your 3 or 4 hitter is. It matters on who your starting 9 are. For example, with this team, you don't have a 9 type hitter, so you don't do it. However, should you have a player like Pierre, Pods, Jason Kendall, Theriot, Brendan Ryan, et cetera then you hit them 9th.

You said you don't like him as a manger at all. So what do the Cubs players have to with that? That is team-specific, and he was batting the pitcher 9th in the beginning of the season, he only does it when he thinks it will work with the players he has.

If Barney was a starter, I can see him as a good 9 hitter. He reminds me of Theriot is some ways. What do you think?

If that's the case, it could be good but I would rather have Joe G, Gonzalez or Sandberg before him. He's up there in age and might lose his mind a little, like Lou. However, he's not like Lou. They both have different techniques.
