Earl Clark: He's the safe pick. I think he could be a go-to guy for us for years to come. He has swag like Lebron James too and that makes him more intriguing. Dido James, he makes everyone around him better. He can play the 1,2,3, and 4. I'd be surprise if the Bulls didn't draft him if no one is available that will help down low.

Aj Ogilvy: I don't think this dude is that young (6/17/88). He plays the game with fundamentals and shrewdness. He can pass, score, and display skill. He's a nice rotation guy with Noah at the 5.

PG: Rose, Hinrich
SG: Salmons, Clark
SF: Clark, Deng, Tim Thomas
PF: Ty. Thomas, Noah
C: Noah, Ogilvy, Miller

I've been working on it since yesterday. I'm a NBA draft freak.

No offense, but you have many of the guys way out of position

Ogivily, Mullens, Collison, Teague. You don't even have Greg Monroe or Gerald Henderson, or Terrence Williams

Looks like you did it through nbadraft.net

The Bulls picks are presently 15th and 25th I believe not 30th.

I hoping Budinger falls to us at 25.

You like Budinger? Do you prefer him over Terrance Williams? Can Budinger play SG too?

I like Budinger because I think we'll need a 3 who can shoot the 3, and I think he'll be a solid overall player for a guy presently projected to go in the 20s. I haven't watched much college basketball yet though, so there may be other guys I like more. I scouted Budinger some last year so I have more of an opinion on him.

I liked Chase last year too but I was wondering about Williams because he seems to bring a little of everything but he isn't the shooter Chase is.

Do you think Chase would be worth our 15-16 pick or no? I want us to land a PF and a guy that can play SG/SF in this draft. That is if we don't trade the picks for Bosh.

IMO Gordon will be gone and we'll have Rose-Salmons-Deng-Tyrus-Noah so a nice four and a wing player is def needed.

Edit: The PF needs to be a bruiser. We have the athletic guys in Noah and Tyrus but we need a bruiser which is why Blair is interesting to me

I'd only want Chase if he fell to the late pick most likely. He strikes me purely as a role player for us and a potential starting caliber player. I'd think with the early pick you have a shot at a starting caliber guy.

Blair's a bruiser but he's short. I'm not a big fan of at the rim PFs which I think Blair is, not that I've seen him play that much.

I like Clark as well, but don't mention LeBron's name in the same sentence, even if it is just comparing styles.

I like Blair too and his height is a concern but he has the wide body which could fit nice with Tyrus and Noah. It all depends on his draft measurements. If he's a legit 6'7 with out shoes I think you take him. If' he's under 6'7 then you pass.

IMO he doesn't have the Michael Sweetney body and looks more muscle than fat.

Assuming there is no trade, we keep both of our picks and we let Gordon walk then my two choices are Craig Brackins at 15 and Chase Budinger at 25. I love the idea of adding a SF that can shoot the ball from 3 and excel in the open court game like Budinger. Brackins gives us a PF/C who can score inside and outside and rebound the ball well. Not a great man to man defender at this point but assuming no trade is made he gives us some additional scoring upfront to go with Tyrus and Noah.

Rose,Hinrich
Salmons,(Hinrich)
Deng, Budinger
Tyrus, Brackins
Noah,Miller

That is not my preference though. My preference is Deng, Tyrus, James, #15 for Bosh, Kapano and then use the #25 on a SF who can defend to go with the shooter in Kapano. My pick for that would be Sam Young from Pitt.

Rose,Hinrich
Salmons
Young,Kapano
Bosh,Timmy
Noah,Miller

I agree. Our main focus should be drafting what Toronto wants in the trade for Bosh. If that trade is not possible, then I'd love to see Buddinger go to the #25, but I see it unlikely.

Anyway, I need to watch lot of players first before making a more informed opinion.

I like Hasheem Thabeet, Cole Aldrich, and Stephen Curry in this draft.

I would love for Cole Aldrich to come tumbling down to 15 on draft day to us, somewhat similar to ow Brook Lopez tumbled down to 10 for the Nets. I think Aldrich is going to be a really special player. He has decent athleticism and nice long arms, and he just has a mean streak about him that is nice to see in a center. He has a decent jumpshot and some decent post moves as well.

But I think there is a greater chance of Aldrich finding his way into the top 3 than falling to us at 15.

Stephen Curry is the most realistic of "my guys" falling to 15. If he's there, take him. Not because he necessarily is there to replace Gordon. You don't draft someone this late in the draft to replace a 20 point scorer. There is a decent chance Curry turns out to be a trainwreck in the NBA, although I don't think that will be the case. You can never have enough shooters in my opinion. And if we trade Hinrich to make room for Gordon or for a big man, then Curry could play about 12 minutes a game of backup point guard next year behind Rose.

A lot of people including myself always put both 1st in deals involving Bosh but I kinda agree with what you wrote and think the 25th will stay if we're trading Deng.

I really think Deng,Tyrus,15th would get it done and if we swapped James for Kapono it will definitely get done.

Paxson first offer will probably be Tyrus the 15th and 25 for Bosh of course fillers would have to be made which I could see Timmy and James being involved and us getting Kapono

If Toronto is looking to trade Bosh that means they know 100% he won't be back and they can't be looking for the type of value if they had a leg to stand on which they won't

I wouldn't be surprised at the end of the day it's Tyrus,15th,25th,James and Timmy for Bosh,Kapono

I would offer that deal of that deal to both the Suns and Raptors and see if any bite

Wasn't this guy a lock to be a lotto pick a few years back? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else but I thought either straight out of high school or after his freshman year, he was a hot commodity and a lock to go in the top 10. Folks were going gaga over his athleticism (was an amazing volleyball player) and shooting ability.

Budinger @ 1 mil per year > Deng at 12 mil per

if we're looking at a pf/c, then i think it would be worth it to take a chance on dejaun blair. his scouting report seems very similar to elton brand's and carlos boozer's. a little short for the position, but very strong and soft hands. it might be worth it with the first pick, but if he falls to the second pick, there's no way we should pass on him. plus, the raptors would love a guy like him to pair with barngani for some inside outside game.

Great Mock Draft, it is hard doing one so early, I think you did a pretty good job. This year is the perfect year for us to draft the best player available who is not a point guard. If Clark falls that low that would be perfect, but I don't know about Ogilvy. I think Aaron Gray will probably be a better NBA player so with that pick we should just take the best available or maybe take a chance if the big 7'3" guy from Tulsa falls to that pick, atleast he has one thing that stands out.
