Depends on what he gets back but I bet the Taxes are a huge nut.I don’t care how much money I had I can’t fathom spending 6 million dollars on a house. That said, I am jealous of the basketball court
My wife and I can barely keep our house clean as is…a 6 milly house would be a huge burden and overkill. And yes, taxes on that property are astronomical. I just prefer simpler and modest living. If I had that kind of money, I still can’t imagine spending more than 500k on a house…and it’d be somewhere with a lot of land and privacy. Different strokes for different folksDepends on what he gets back but I bet the Taxes are a huge nut.
In fairness it takes 4 years to learn the offense. You can get some of that work done in a summer.Clearly he put more time into his house than he did with his offense.
On the one hand I can see the humble perspective, but man if it's my dream house, I'm going all-out:My wife and I can barely keep our house clean as is…a 6 milly house would be a huge burden and overkill. Where in Texas ? We’ve been thinking about moving and Texas is on the listOn the one hand I can see the humble perspective, but man if it's my dream house, I'm going all-out:
1. Full roof solar with enough Tesla batteries as backup that I can run the whole house for 72 hours on battery. If that's like 20 or even 40 of them, then so be it. I want to be able to be completely off the electric grid, so I can give the figurative middle finger to scumbag power companies that are trying to charge people to hook up to the grid
2. Rainwater collection for the lawn
3. My office alone would have built-ins for books, a separate circuit for power so I don't blow my breaker when I buy my dual RX7990 graphic card this winter, built-in computer desk big enough for 6 27" monitors (two computers, 3 monitors each), built-in twin-bed, full bath with shower (No one will ever rush me off the can again ?), and independent AC so I can freeze without freezing the rest of my family
4. Outdoor pool with full deck, brick built-in bar with television
5. Full finished basement (that's a big deal in Texas- nobody has basements here because there's a layer of limestone just a couple of inches below ground)
6. Man cave for watching my perennially losing football team, but I'll still do it up nice
7. Movie room with reclining chairs for family movie night (Fridays ?)
8. A combination sewing, photography, and craft room for my wife, who likes that kinda shit
9. Combination Weight/excercise room with mirrors so my kids who are in dance can practice
10. Way too much closet space
11. Way too big of a kitchen
Yeah, I can see getting to about 3 million easy. Also, I've given this some thought ?

I think he paid close to half of that.I don’t care how much money I had I can’t fathom spending 6 million dollars on a house. That said, I am jealous of the basketball court
Make sure you put up a fuck ton of holiday decorations too. Like overkill that fuckerOn the one hand I can see the humble perspective, but man if it's my dream house, I'm going all-out:

Houston seems less expensive overall. I’m amazed by the bang for the buck you can get down there. Houses at like 250-350k would easily be 50-100k more here. I remember looking at a house listed at 350k and said to myself, this is a 450k house easily….in the northwest suburbsI live north of Austin, but I've lived in the suburbs of Houston (Cypress and Montgomery) as well as Austin
Since we're dreaming. I've always wanted to build on a nice lake somewhere, and put my office directly above the boathouse. Something like this:On the one hand I can see the humble perspective, but man if it's my dream house, I'm going all-out:

That’s cool and all but are you going with usb or usb-c wall outlets at the kitchen island? ORB door stoppers or matte black? On the one hand I can see the humble perspective, but man if it's my dream house, I'm going all-out:
