We don't have a Naruto thread. Why is that? Possibly the most watched Anime ever, and even people like me who do not get into anime, love this show in it's original Japanese language(but with english subtitles). Even reading subs, it's amazing.


Anyways, we need a Naruto thread. 4 more episodes left on the show, and one final movie before the franchise is rumored to be blown-up into spin-off concepts. (yes, a Naruto thread. Too many haters on the net will derail these threads with how much of an anime snob they are, and hijack the thread to talk about other shows. Please don't do that, make a new thread.) I'm genuinely curious to know who are the Naruto fans on CCS.

Trust me, they are better subbed. The English aired/dubbed versions have altered content, and the voice acting is inferior. I got my pre-teen brother with the attention span of a mite to get into Naruto after just two episodes. Fastforward a few years and he has watched over 200 episodes with subtitles(he even tried to watch the english dubs, but went back), and it's his favorite show. He also doesn't care for anime, but loves Naruto. (reoccurring theme here, you don't have to like anime to like naruto).

Some episodes are childish(well, to be fair, it's a family/kids show) and most episodes are very well layered to the point that kids will not understand the content(adults will, and get the full impact of the story), but kids still remain highly entertained.The good episodes are simply amazing. Great story, great twists, tie ins, and the story is as close to 100% accurate to itself(follows the same storyline, no short term memory writing events; where a character suddenly is different, or revised).

I know of the show because my kids have watched it and they have a couple of the games for the PS3. I tried playing against them and I died in like 20 seconds.

They also bought some of the akatsuki cloaks and a few of the headbands for cos-play.
