It was inevitable: Earlier this year Activision came out with its sim-based NASCAR racer and now it's trying for a more casual experience with NASCAR Unleashed.
The fall game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, and the Wii takes place on and off famous tracks like Daytona, Talledega, Martinsville, and more as gamers pick from 15 real-life drivers (including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Joey Logano, and Kyle Busch) and use power ups, bumping, and drafting to climb up to first place.
Naturally, the game's controls are focused at a more casual racing audience, and we'll have to see if this game can succeed where Electronic Arts' similar-sounding NASCAR Kart Racing failed on the Wii.
