We have troubles on the line yet we bench him, he has all the baggage. I do not understand why a team would want to give any capital for guy who is lazy, has questions about his wanting to play, and is benched by a team who has had big issues all year on the line. If there is an idiot team out there please take him!

iirc Adam Shaheen, who was also useless, was traded for a 7th that could convert to a 6th. I would be more than happy with that.

We will eat money to get rid of him.
Not really. This year is a sunk cost already and he’s getting cut next season regardless. There’s like 2 mil in a dead cap space when they cut him. If you can get a ham sandwich then do it. Regardless his days here are done barring a bunch of injuries

That doesn’t make any sense. There’d have to be real interest from the team he’s moving to.
Agents put players names in the media all the time trying to drum up interest. Obviously there has to be REAL interest from at least one team or no one trades.

Yeah, to create leverage. But Nate Davis isn’t in a position to demand anything, and the idea of creating a bidding war for him is silly.

Activity creates activity. Kinda basic negotiation/marketing

Let's throw in Dominique Robinson to sweeten (?) the deal. Addition by subtraction times 2.

As much as it delight me to see Davis gone, it doesn’t really help much at this point seeing as how he’s not even a starter anymore. And it wouldn’t save the team any money either. Sure, they might get a 7th round pick for him but lol
