Nate Robinson getting interest from Bulls and more

According to a person familiar with the situation, two of Robinson's five most serious inquiries have come from the NBA Finalists -- the Lakers and Magic. If Turkoglu winds up in Toronto, Orlando might get serious with Robinson.

Other teams who have made inquiries are the Blazers, where Robinson is beloved by Nate McMillan and Brandon Roy, Miami and the Bulls, who are in need of bench scoring after Ben Gordon's defection to Detroit. Last season, Robinson proved to be one of the league's best sixth men and had a Player Efficiency Rating that ranked sixth among point guards, ahead of Kidd and Bucks point guard Ramon Sessions.

Doubt the bulls would give him what he wants which is the full MLE.

Well u know id like Nate, Good job Skool you called this a week ago!!

I said I would like my enemy here in Chicago however Bulls will not give him the MLE even though he would be amazing off the bench. If we dont go out and get a respectable shooter/scorer for off the bench I really will question Gar.

The only thing is, where and when would he play? With Hinrich off the team its obvious, with Hinrich on the team, there could be issues. Nate is cool, I can dig it.

I want no part of Nate Robinson. And neither should any Bulls fan who complained that Gordon took bad shots, shot too much, or was a wild ball handler.

i think hinrich+robinson could work, especially as a second rotation. n8 can cover on offense, and hinrich on defense. that's when.

Tze how many guys complained about the size of BG? And now we are talking about a player who is 5-9???

On official NBA notes BG is 4 inches taller than Nate.

I would rather have Kirk than Nate, but I think the team is enamored with Hinrich. I was also suggesting Ben come off the bench. If the guy can score, I am not totally against them coming off the bench

Nate's a decent player, but he's the bad kind of tweener: can't really play SG due to being small even for a PG, can't really play PG because he doesn't have the skill set.

He's a pretty crappy fit here too, you can't really play him with Rose unless you want the worst defensive back court in the NBA, so that limits him to 12 minutes a game.

Nate would be a good fit here because he would be coming to a better team and wont feel like he would have to come into the game and go crazy in order for the team to win like he had to do in NY. I would support this deal 100%.

And we were complaining about BG's lack of height...Nate is the smallest player in the NBA right now (as I have not heard of Earl Boykins in a while). I guess he would do ok with Hinrich, but your backcourt is still tiny and people are still complaining. Yes he can score, but BG could have done so at a much higher rate and more efficiently. To me this does not make any sense.
