Okay, so I created my first NBA 2k12 assoc. while re-doing a fantasy draft (due to corrupted save data). Just repicked the Bucks and ended up with the 4th pick in a serpentine draft.

Basically this thread is just to show my team that I drafted and get some feedback and maybe post results of the season and see if anyone is interested. Sometimes is kind of fun.

My Roster:
PG: Derrick Rose/Keyon Dooling/Eddie House
SG: Rip Hamilton/DeShawn Stevenson
SF: Michael Beasley/Renaldo Balkman
PF: David West/Tyler Hansbrough/Joey Dorsey
C: Marcus Camby/Joel Pryzbilla

Alright, the new fantasy draft ended this way. Possibly a bit better talent wise compared to my last team, but I don't know how i feel about it just yet. But I do have a few hard-nosed guys that always seem to excite me in the games. So here what I got, thoughts on this one now if you would please do so.....

Not sure how to put this without sounding mean because I don't mean for it to come as as harsh....but hard hat guys in video games aren't hard hat guys anymore...they are just the guys with less stats

I only went that route, because of the fact that drafting at such a high slot screws over any chance you ahve at 2 super high caliber of players, plus i have good defense. It's just a learning process. I actually thoroughly enjoy this team thus far.

This team might have a tough time scoring 75 points a game.. But after your first season you might be able to get up to about 90 game once you cash in that 1st Overall Pick..

Thus far, Nate Robinson gets really hot off Wade drive and kicks, and Landry is actually surprisingly good down low. But barnes and the chuck wagon don't do all that much, while J-Craw as a 6th man is deadly with is handle and ability to get hot.

As sad as it is for me to inform you, I accidentally turned my xbox off a tad too soon and the file became corrupted, I am now creating a new bucks franchise so I don't have to change file name (yes, I am that lazy lol) I will be doing this again and updating the roster tomorrow.

I did a fantasy draft with 2k11 last year for fun I think I had the 5th pick or so.

My team was something like

PG-Rose/Watson/Jeremy Lin
SG-Ray Allen/Anthony Morrow/Afflalo
SF-Grant Hill/Batum/Dorell Wright
PF-Garnett//Ibaka/Hickson
C-Gortat/Frye

Not too shabby I would say.

Sorry to detract the conversation...just felt like sharing that. xD

See, I'd rather go with CubbyBear's team, the original poster.

Otherwise, the game is just too easy.

Stacking your team is ***.

Pretty much yah, and now that my final is over, I will now be completing my fantasy draft since the file is corrupted. Hopefully people don't think that stacking the team is the only way to go about drafting, its also draft players you know how to use and enjoy using.

Edit: Even though my team is nicer this time has been built around rose for success. Nothing really "great" pursay.....But nicer than the other, probably not as fun for me to play with though.

Your new team has a good amount of scoring options. Camby is really old, but for a season or two, he'll do you a lot of good defensively. Rose and West provide a good inside/outside combination with Rip and Beasley being able to take over games as well. IMO this team is a lot more balanced offensively, which will make the game a lot easier for you initially. Not like challenge is a bad thing, but I like winning personally.

And for that random team I posted yesterday, I really don't know if I'd call it stacked. It's pretty much Rose and a bunch of old guys as starters (granted good quality old guys) and a bunch of well known young role players on the bench. There were other teams that were way more stacked talent wise. Again...sorry to kinda go off topic with that.

You're the one controlling the team and the floor. It doesn't matter who the hell you have on your team, as long as you enjoy the game. That is kind of the point.

Yah i got reallly lucky, we'll see how they turn and I also liike winning, but in all honesty, who doesn't? But challenges are very fun....at least in my eyes.

Challenges are fun, but sometimes in games like 2k12, certain players will just miss every single freaking shot, no matter how wide open they are. Like in that team I posted before, my bench had a real hard time scoring because there was no true scorer in that lineup, just a bunch of role players. With your team, if you manage your lineups right, you can have a scorer on the floor at all times. And trust me, that's a good thing, just from a playing perspective.
