NBA Finals Predictions

Now that the Thunder and Bulls are officially on vacation, who does everyone have for the Finals?

It's funny...all season long everyone had "figured the Heat out." They start the season without Dwyane Wade. Udonis Haslem misses nearly the entire season. Mike Miller has a serious injury, one he STILL hasn't fully come back from and when they lost games, everyone said they had failed.

Then during the playoffs "Oh they'll never beat the Celtics! The Celtics dominated them all year long."

Down go the Celtics.

Then they play the Bulls "Oh they'll never handle the Bulls, the Bulls dominated them all year long."

What we didn't realize was, you can't dominate these guys in a 7 game series.

And what's scary is, THIS IS THE WORST HEAT TEAM WE'RE GOING TO SEE.

THIS IS JUST THE ONE WITH LEBRON, WADE, BOSH AND A BUNCH OF FILLERS and they STILL made the Finals and will probably win the title. WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO WHEN THEY REALLY PUT A TEAM TOGETHER?

Maybe LeBron really WILL get 4...5...6...7.

We need to chill out on leBron though. Seriously.

Just because he didn't sign with Chicago doesn't make him the spawn of Satan. If he came to the Bulls the Rose-LeBron-Noah combo would be better than James-Wade-Bosh and everything we criticize the Heat for, we would be doing the same thing if we had it here, so just chill out.

This should be a great series. Dirk's been playing great, LeBron's going for his first...for the first time in watching basketball, I have no idea who will win the championship.

Heat in 7 but every game close. I think Dallas has a legitimate shot and my pick is a toss up and Dallas is a underrated team.

I would like to see Kidd and Dirk get a ring. Rather ironic Dirk the only big name FA to stay with his previous team is in the finals.

Heat in 6, though I dont want it to happen, I'm accepting reality. Miami has HCA and that huge free throw disparity will continue for them.

"LeBron James can't close! LeBron James can't close!"

Except Shaquille O'Neal's career. Except the Boston Celtics. Except showing up the alleged MVP Derrick Rose. Except everyones MOUTHS!

That boy was clutch. All I saw him doing was knocking down three's and bringing his team from 13 down to win the game over the alleged MVP.

Well if you count Joe Johnson is a big name FA..he stayed with his team too.

All you guys going with Mavs in 5, before we go on with this, you might want to look back at what happened when the Heat's opponents were chosen over them this year.

How has that turned out so far?

no i dont count him he wasn't at a elite level in my opinion comparatively speaking he is very overrated. I though about him but he just isnt at the level of Dirk LBJ ect. and he is making more then all of them.(that is why a long lockout is coming)

Dallas in 6. No hard feelings vs heat but they havent played a team with 3 threats, and i think dirk will rip them up for 35 pts average per game.

3 weeks ago everyone was saying "The Bulls are the best team! 62 wins! We're the best team in the league!!!"

Now suddenly everyone's Mavericks fans.

I love it.

lol, dude, really?

everyone knew the Heat had more talent on the floor...you're blaming Bulls fans for being hopeful for a Bulls 'ship run? gtfoutta here w/ that garbage...you're in a chicago sports forum...if you wanna hear how good the heat are, go to a miami forum. Or just look at the bandwagoners on this forum. Right now, the vast majority of us are pissed that we lost to the Heat. What do you expect?

So we're not allowed to root against the team that beat us? The enemy of my enemy is my friend mentality doesn't slide with you eh? Well too bad, that's the mentality amongst most.

Heat in 5 is my prediction, but I sure as heck hope that Dirk and Kidd get their rings. I don't want them getting Stockton and Malone'd by the big 3. I'd rather see them get rings before those 3...and I had that opinion before the season started (though I admit, I never thought the Mavs would get to the Finals).
