I always liked the Live series. Hopefully the two-year absence will refesh their product and make them great again.

I think they'll both still have licensing rights for the NBA, so there should be 2K13 as well as Live 13.

Yeah don't know why some are unsure if NBA2K will be released this year. Why wouldn't it? It's MLB2K that might not release next year.

Why would EA Sports embarrass themselves with another garbage game?
The last Live game I bought was Live 2000 for pc.
Then I bought 2K for the Dreamcast and haven't looked back since even though I didn't buy 2k12. This year is the first time I haven't had a NBA game since 94.

I miss 3pt shootouts and slam dunk contests in a game. That is the only facet that can help EA regain something. And they can't just bring back the crappy dunk contest from before. The dunk contest should have evolved.

I'm not as optimistic. Not with Live at least. This time around, EA and Tiburon have to prove worthy for me. But I do agree, FIFA and NHL, perfect. And of course, we all miss MVP Baseball.
