Near perfect game almost ruined by a freak victory .

1) Justin Fields continues to amaze and continues to grow as a passer. Even the late pick to seal the game is a great teaching moment.
2)Hopefully the complete trash route by ESB and the Pettis overall ineptitude leads to Harry, VJJ, and Claypool getting more looks the a last 4 weeks.
3) Darryton Evans clearly has a place in the RB room.
4) Rookie DB's showed up. Kindle Vild-nomore your bus ticket is ready.
5)Jack Sanborn continues to show how overrated Roquan Smith truly was.
6) Bears one game closer to securing a treasure trove of draft picks.

4 more weeks of growing offense and incompetent defensive line play by guys not to be Bears soon, please.

I was surprised by how much better the guys off the street have looked versus the normal defensive starters. I think they win that game if Getsy doesn't go turtle mode in the 2nd half. Also, thank god the Bears didn't pay Roquan $18-20 million when they're getting great production from an UDFA at a fraction of the price. Tells me they can find some competent linebackers without spending much and hopefully use the majority on upgrading the DL/OL and WR room.
