that's surprising. i figured the only school that was going to join the big ten is notre dame.

do you mean ND or nebraska? i mean, i get why both would. but i just can't see nebraska leaving the big 12 for the big 10 (minus the obvious revenue increases).

This makes the conference even better in terms of football.
Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nebraska.
Throw in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota who are good sometimes.

yeah, i guess the more i actually think about it, the more it makes sense. but then with nebraska gone, does the big 12 look to get boise state? because i can see texas abandoning the big 12 in favor of a increased pac 10.

With this I think the Big Ten is done expanding. I could still see the pac-10 getting Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas

i don't know. i think the big ten is hell bent upon getting notre dame because of it's "brand name."
and another thing i've heard is that the pac 10, big 10, and sec might expand to 16 teams each, which would basically make the ncaa explode.

the big 10 currently has 11 teams.
michigan, michigan state, minnesota, wisconsin, illinois, northwestern, ohio state, indiana, purdue, penn state, and iowa.
adding nebraska would effectively make the big 10 have 12 teams.
