Necro-bumping solution

Is there any way to create a function where a thread automatically locks itself after it gets no replies in "X" amount of days/weeks/months/etc?

That should solve the problem of people bumping threads from years ago and such.

It would be a win/win for everyone.

Seems like a pretty easy technical solution involving a job scheduled to run once a night or something on that order.... just give me access to the CCS back end DB stuff, I will make it happen.

Also, there are no compatible plugins without serious security holes and/or resource usage issues, otherwise I would have added one a long time ago.

gpp and HHM were just both banned after necro-bumping threads so thats what it looked like

cause they necrobumped then were banned right after. and gpp's ban didn't say any reason so he assumed it after he necrobumped a thread then received a ban.
