Worth a shot maybe? I do not know the area in question. But, I have been to NYC, and dined there, often. I may have been able to help otherwise. So could have others perhaps, so doesn’t hurt to ask or hurt to help if you can.

Oddly enough this message board has people from outside Chicago posting here and believe it or not people travel.
I heard the local resale shop was selling food but I thought someone may have a thought about where to eat in NY.

I wound up going to NY Pizza Supreme.
I guess Bourdain and Zimmern have been there. It was pretty good and super cheap.

I love Gallagers Steak House on 52nd, pretty close to my office. DelFriscos great too with good atmosphere. If you stop there for lunch today maybe I can shoot over and meet you for a quick beer first.

Why don’t we all do the rush thing to @Omeletpants house in Elgin and have him put out a spread with food and drink. There is plenty of room we can bring tents, campers, RV’s, whatever we have. He can right it off on his taxes since he is a millionaire
