So we're in Florida visiting some friends. They are taking us out deep sea fishing on saturday chartered and everything. I want to take them out to a fancy seafood dinner. Somewhere with a good wine list and not a chain.

We are in Plantation/ FT. Lauderdale. Any ideas?

Find a grill and eat what you catch. Aren't you supposed to be a line cook or something?

Never said we were going out to dinner the same day as the fishing trip. We will of course be grilling up some Mahi Mahi afterwards. And no, I'm not a line cook. Pull your head out of your ass and thanks for trying though.

The locals have been raving about cheddar biscuits or some shit. Let me check with Guy Fieri first.

G&B Oyster Bar is pretty damn good. But like mentioned, you should cook up what you catch. If you end up heading a little north to Deerfield Beach, try the Whales Rib. Im not familiar with their wine list but the food is awesome. There's actually a Bears bar in FT Lauderdale called Hott Leggz. Seafood is shit outside of peel and eat shrimp but might as well catch the Bears game there on Sunday.

Had about an 80lb sailfish on for about 10 min then lost it. Completely dead at this point.

Those things are tough, though im not much of a deep sea fisherman. I wrestled a damn sailfish to the point where it basically just died. Then a threw up for about 90minutes.
