Need help with a love song

Yes, a love song.

Okay, here is the deal: Basically, I'm trying to win my ex back. I've gone through some problems and she wasn't talking to me for awhile. I'm slowly making progress with her and three weeks ago, I sent her a youtube of this song:

After I sent that song to her, with a few of my own comments, she finally started talking to me and warming up to me. Well, I want to send her another love/missing you song but the problem is that I am a rock/metal guy and she is more into hip-hop/pop/top 100 music. I did a little searching and couldn't find anything.

So, anyone have any ideas of a song that would help me out here? I'm looking for something pretty current... aka within the last 2-3 years and would be played on B96 or 103.5 (I think those are her two radio stations).

but I honestly don't think sending another song is a good idea... it's like you saying what you wanna say but in someone elses words through a song you didn't write.

If you sent her an email, a letter or w/e but in your own words telling her how you really feel while sounding funny at times, and showing you still care and blah blah blah... that would probably be better

I hear ya, and I like some of the songs you posted above... they just aren't her taste in music. Need a Bruno Mars-type musician.
