I'm just starting it, and the first thing I want to do is create pages for the Cubs and their minor league affiliates.

I just wanted to know if anyone had any advice.

Use a much longer tagline instead of Cubsnet to bring in search engine hits. Also buy a URL.....when people see a .wordpress URL they will discredit it.

I can't buy a domain unfortunately. Do you think a .tk domain would work though? They are free.

If you are really serious about this you should probably just buy domain and hosting. If you get enough support I might be willing to help you with it. I have a little experience there.
