It already has been a very tough week with my girl being in the hospital all week with a coma due to brain damage/cancer and finally waking up acouple days ago. Anyways I doubt any of you give a shit about that, but I am having itouch issues. I cant access anything and all I see is a black screen with a usb cable pointing upwards to an itunes logo. Any suggestions guys??

I'm not 100% sure, because I don't have the device, but it sounds like a failed firmware update. You might want to look into ways of flashing to the newest firmware and iOS. If you plug the ipod to your computer, it should still read like a removable storage drive, then you can backup all of your files from the itouch, to your hard drive for the time being.

You prolly are right...if I get those updated it should recognize it then...issue is how to update them.
