Need help

Hey guys, I know this is a lame thing to post but I just had a couple software questions about a learning program that I'd really like to use. The only problem is I'm a total moron when it comes to computers. If you are decent with computers, please message me, I don't think it's that big of an issue except for the fact that I'm totally ignorant. Thanks!

Rosetta Stone. I didn't get it via traditional means. But I got the data for the Latin American Spanish series and I would like to work on it but I can't seem to get it to work. Something about how I need to make it external or something? I dunno lol.

Well the language files are called "iso" image files so I'm trying to burn them onto a disk. Also, when I try to open up the Rosetta Stone software, I get an image files of a lot of empty squares. Not sure what that means!

Oh and I need to "overwrite" a cracked version of my software on top of the original application. How does one do that?

There are a few programs out there that enable you to mount an .iso image. Virtual Clone Drive is one. It basically loads the .iso image and makes the computer think it's a physical disc: CD, DVD, and possibly Blu-ray (Don't have a BD-RW so I haven't tested that out). I know Virtual Clone Drive is free.

I use it whever I have an .iso of a movie disc that I want to watch. Instead of going to my disc collection, i just go to the place where I keep my movie's .iso file, mout it, and then watch it as if it was a DVD.



Now, if it's a bum .iso that's causing your issues, I don't know how to help because I know no one with Rosetta Stone, and the bastards don't have Slovak yet.

I have not seen the dvd, shockingly. I've been away for so long. I once got him to teach me a few words at Atlanta's casino night, but then I got too blasted to remember them, so I think you're doing better than me!

If you want you mount it to a virtual drive. Download DAEMON Tools Lite and mount it using that program. Basically DAEMON tools creates an imaginary BD-DVD-Rom drive on your computer. So it tricks the computer into thinking there is a CD there.



Or if you want to burn it. I use ImgBurn or Nero, or there are plenty out there that are free.



You will have to find a crack for it. I tried finding cracked versions of Rosetta Stone that worked to no avail. The crack might even be on the iso file.
