Any thoughts on the Ford Mustang? Was looking at a Nissan 370Z Coupe but the MPG is terrible.

Depending on type of Mustang mileage will still be close.
Sounds like you're interested in a sports type car.
Most cars are pretty high quality these days so it's really just what suits you.
I do like the new body Mustang but have not driven on.

Yup I like the look too. Fairly reasonable price. Thinking maybe try to get a 2015 rather 2016 with some miles already on it and see how much they knock the price down.

Always good to find slightly used... saves a ton of money from initial depreciation, still has warranty, etc...
Down here there are tons of leases which are easy to find once turned back in... lot of older folks here so they are still like new.

Good luck in the search...

In 1972 I owned a 1965 Mustang which was a pile of shit. So I would stay away from Mustang

I bought a 2016 GTI last month, I love it.

If you want a car that's legit fun to drive but still gets decent fuel economy I'd check it out. That and it has a hatch, vehicles without hatches suck.

Love those cars. Had a 84 GTI, one of the best cars I've ever owned.

Drive a Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4 with the 5.0 and you may forget about buying a car.

Some great trucks out there right now... can't believe the price tag on some but they do hold value very well.

It took some looking but found my 2012 with 24000 mi for 27500. Had 6 mo of warranty to fix any problems and 2.5 years of powertrain warranty. The new ones I was looking at were 54000 and up. Love the truck and not having a payment makes it even better.

Depends on rate. If you qualify for a great rate you can leave your other assets to earn.
However I agree for the most part.

I'll never buy new again, everything under $20K is garbage and everything above is over priced.

Unless we are talking classics, which I feel everyone should consider. Most are less than 20K, are easier to maintain, and are cool to drive b/c nobody else has one.

Now that's a nice Mustang, I'll bet you'd look good in it.:)
