Did he really wak on the moon?

I kid I kid...i'm not one of those. I believe in the moon landing 100%. However I don't think enough credit for it has been given to the non- Americans who were vital in the first and all space missions...and it's hard to give credit to people you really don't want to because it's uncomfortable. (ie Germany and German scientists/engeniers...that includes Nazi party scientists and figure heads...it's historical fact jack)) . And I don't think the history books or history taught in schools ever really tell the truths about how programs like NASA grew, who was behind rocket research etc etc. I wonder why? Shit storms could brew.

Sorry..this is no time for politics..it's too late. Can't help it sometimes. I need to shut my pie hole.

Armstrong was indeed a pioneer and someone a nation could be proud of.

Uptown baby!
Goddamnit! First Sally Ride now Armstrong. All my astronauts are dying this summer. This is so sad. They are true pioneers and I admire immensely what they contributed to space exploration so much it's ridiculous.

R.I.P. Mr. Armstrong.

At least for me going through school and learning about the space race the German scientists were given strong credit. It was those Reds that were ignored at the time, even though many from NASA were willing to give credit. The reality is that the US had already been dabling ing rocketry and the possibility of space before WWII (as were the Reds), it was the money that h Nazi's put into it that became the game changer...and then the cold war.

**** the Nazis! Those fucked up assed, Jew killing goat rapers never would have gotten anywhere if weren't for the research of Dr. Robert Goddard, AMERICAN! He was developing the theories and testing rockets when Von Braun was still shitting his diapers! Von Brauns A series rockets and eventually the V2, would have not gotten off the ground if Von Braun had stolen Goddards ideas regarding liquid cooled engines and control elements.

I give credit that Von Braun did help develope the modern rocketry that would put Armstrong and his crew, and those who would follow, as well as other "non Americans" and I have no doubt that our nation is great full for their contributions. All told tho, we owe Dr. Goddard the credit for the original ideas that made it all possible.

That we can agree on anyday. The Nazi party and the SS were fucking plagues of shit on this planet and those who still associate themselves as Nazi's are scum of the earth also. You forgot Communist killing goat rapers, Black killing goat rapers, Homosexual killing goat rapers, Handicap killing goat rapers etc etc. Wasn't only the Jews even though they got it the worst if it's a numbers game. Those fucking Nazi and SS scum slaughtered everyone that moved pretty much.

You guys forgot to debate that many Nazi's (esp the scientists/engeniers) were only members of the Nazi party because they were brainwashed so fucking deep and they didn't have much of a choice at the time..either you joined the party and worked for them or you and your family were terrorized if not killed. I was waiting for that part of the debate. Surprised it never came up. Thus why many were pardoned.. that and because they had something to contribute to American and global science and technology. There were a lot more than just Von Braun. In the hundreds they came and worked in American labs etc. They had to have something that American scientists and engeniers didn't have at the time. We all learn off of each other despite if some were members of one of the most disgusting political parties and ideals of all time. Doesn't pardon the acts of the SS and the Nazi party in any way like you guys have said if you acknowledge the historical facts.

Anyways I would never discredit Goddards importance in any of this. As big as or bigger than any figure head in rocket sciences and physics (maybe not A.E.) etc..no questions asked. A great man indeed. A great American.

Yeah, can't even begin to scratch the surface of the fucking rat balls from which Hitler and his fucking Nazi goons sprang from. The only ones of the era that came close to equalling the Nazi atrocities were the Russians. Stalin was a merciless mother ******, makes Sadham Hussein look like a miss nancy fucking choir boy!

Neil could have parlayed landing on the moon into endless ad deals and public appearances. But he didn't. He always said he was just a member of a team. Very classy guy.

Yeah, it took a toll on him most of his life because he sincerely felt bad for (and I'm paraphrasing a bit "taking the credit for what took 10,000 people to accomplish". He didn't want the limelight of the credit, but when he did speak, people listen.

On a side note, he was actually a pretty good football fan, I don't know how big but he definitely followed. He did a speak not too long ago at Purdue where Drew Brees was there and afterward Drew talked about his chat with him and how excited he was to meet Drew and talk football with him and all Drew could think about was my god... Neil Armstrong is a fan of mine.

NASA shoulda listened to Buzz and Neil last time both wrote letters to NASA. You know the guys that went there and got the T-Shirt and didn't send robots.

Anyway godspeed Neil.
