Why Netflix? You're paying for something you can stream online instantly or download in 10 mins.. I don't get it..

I got Comcast services complementary for life when I moved into my condo, so Netflix and Prime are the only things I am paying for.

(Prime was more about the free two day ship)

The $6.99 a month has not really crippled me.

First install this. http://kodi.tv
Then add this to it http://www.tvaddons.ag

You're welcome.

I added mini pcs to each tv in the house and dropped DTV.

I've been thinking about trying out XBMC w/ Raspberry Pi's, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

tvaddons looks good, I've never seen that one before. Last time I was checking out addons, most of the streams were either shitty channels I didn't care about and / or crap quality. But it's been awhile since I've gone down that road. Been using Popcorn Time a bunch though.

KODI is the new name for xbmc. Channel quality really depends on what you want to watch. My antenna picks up the broadcast channels in higher quality than DTV because the signal is uncompressed. Within Kodi we watch any tv series in hd quality but EVERY episode is available. I watched this weeks GOT episode at 10pm so the stream was up and available fast. If you add Stalker IPTV you can get every premium channel live as well but the quality does vary. HBOs ESPNs are good, NFLN isnt.

FYI, I plan to pay the $120 to NFL.COM to live stream games this year and use my VPN to login through a country outside the US. This method gets you every game even those broadcast on primetime.

The thing to remember is that this method isn't as user friendly as DTV. There is a learning curve and even then its clunky for live tv . However if you want access to every movie and tv show ever made then this is the way to go IMO.

I wish you could still get free Gamepass in the Netherlands :) That was fun while it lasted. Can you do the paid subscription + VPN w/ a US credit card & billing address?

Yep, no issues with that.

BTW where the hell have you been? Your mod squad was missing its voice of reason.
