never watched hockey in my life

seen a few fight highligts but never have watched a game while it looks somewhat interesting I have no idea of the rules or even how to play ect ect what would be some good reads or tips to get some knowledge of the game

The best thing to do is just start watching.

Have that link sunbiz provided handy so you know why the whistle sounds, because it'll probably happen in strange moments for someone new to the sport.

Hockey isn't too complicated to understand. You can easily learn by watching and probably only take a couple of games.

It's not like Cricket which I have absolutely no idea what is happening despite reading up on the rules. It makes no sense!!

But yeah, hockey is simpler than say, football IMO.
